In the spirit of Valentines Day, here are 5 types of dates for 5 types of couples.

Adventurous Amigos-

  • Most cities have an ice rink. Find out the open hours and go skating! It’s better if you don’t know how.
  • Cabin in the country.
  • Google “Horseback Riding Near Me” and go see the outdoors together in a new way.
  • I bet you haven’t flown a kite in a long time. Build two and find a windy hill or a beach.
  • Ziplining or a ropes course.

Cozy Couple-

  • Blanket Fort!
  • Cook together. 4 courses. Each of you cooks two.
  • Bed and Breakfast. You can go be cozy somewhere else.
  • Slice some Pineapple, Strawberries, Bananas, and Kiwi and get a fondue set.
  • Create something together. Write a short story by candlelight or buy canvases and paint together.

Parenting Pals- (assuming there is no sitter)

  • Go bowling!
  • Build a planter! You already keep little humans alive; a few plants or even vegetables should be no trouble.
  • Laser Tag
  • Order a heart-shaped pizza. Crank the tunes and have a dance party.
  • Putt-Putt

Cultured Cuties-

  • Find a cooking class- It’s both dinner and a show.
  • Go to the best art museum within a two hours drive. It will be worth the drive.
  • Whiskey Tasting. You only have to taste the first one.
  • Find your La-La Land and go to a Jazz Club
  • Find a new fusion restaurant. Order for each other.

Power Couple- (if you can do these, you’re my hero)

  • Buy a Yacht. Sink it.
  • See Shanghai, Dubai, and New York in one day.
  • Purchase the “Taste of Diamonds” Champagne. It costs roughly 2 million.
  • I’m sure Elon would let you hop on a SpaceX test run at the right price.
  • Get dinner in Switzerland. No matter where you are currently.
